 
The Shaliach is like the Mishaliach (the one who sends)Although the concept of Shlichus originates in our holy Torah, the Rebbe utilized this designation to empower a generation of his Chasidm to conquer the world. The Rebbe explains that a shaliach, when true to his mission, performs not just action on behalf of the sender (the Rebbe), but can also utilize the strength and essence of the Rebbe as well. This explains why the life of a shaliach is full of miracles and success. A Monumental Shift: Parshas Chaya Sara, 1992 For many years, Shlichus was reserved for only a portion of the Rebbe's children. In the Rebbe's talk on Shabbos, Parsha Chaya Sara, the Rebbe states that all Jews are now his shluchim, and that all Jews have the opportunity to join the Rebbe's Army. Specifically, the Rebbe wants that we should all work together to prepare the world for Moshiach! |
