 
"The time of your redemption has arrived"Always a central theme in the Rebbe's teachings, by 1998, Moshiach became the focus. The Rebbe began discussing Moshiach and redemption more frequently, insisting that we learn about and prepare ourselves for the final revelation. A Change in Focus: Devar Malchus, 1991 - 1992 As chasidim, we always believed our Rebbe to be Moshiach. However, when the Rebbe began insinuating that he actually was Moshiach, the energy around the world was electrifying. The Rebbe states that "Moshiach lives in 770", and that "the name of Moshiach is Menachem", and that we must increase in our learning of Moshiach's teachings "Lekutai Sechot" (which are the Rebbe's writings). The Rebbe as Moshiach: A Worldwide Lubavitch Belief Since 1991 & 1992, it was practically impossible to find a Lubavitcher without an unshakable belief that the Rebbe is Moshiach. Today, there is an official "Psak Din" (Legal Ruling) that the Rebbe as Moshiach is according to Jewish Law. |
